This ring holds personal meaning for me.

Near the end of my father's life, we found comfort in talking together about what might come next for him. We imagined he would move into a parallel universe, separated from mine by only a thin membrane with a small opening. This opening wasn't for looking through, but for letting our endless love pass between us.

This ring brings our idea to life. It was the last design my father saw. For me, it represents the strong bond and love between us, and my gratitude for everything I learned from him.

It is made from the mounting material used to cover a screw that holds a mirror. The cabochon of howlite is clamped between the two parts of this cover.

The Mirror ring is so personal that I didn't want to reproduce its design. Instead, I created Circles of Life to share its sentiment: the unconditional love between parent and child, a universal expression of love.
