For what lives in the seas and oceans

the influence of mankind

is impossible to escape

To us, the sea is still cool and blue

but coral, plankton and cod

they drift under shining skies

Inspired by David Attenborough's A Life on Our Planet.

Climate change is warming our oceans, trapping fish, corals, and other marine life in an unlivable environment. Their future is in our hands. I urge everyone to take responsibility: reduce plastic use, support ocean conservation, or share knowledge in your community. Every action counts. \

Art from waste is a conscious choice. I transformed old tin plates from thrift stores and a damaged Iittala vase—materials others throw away—into a work of art that symbolises rising temperatures. By working exclusively with what already exists, I demonstrate that everyone can contribute to change. Will you join me?

For me, an environmentally friendly approach includes not only recycled materials but also the most sustainable process possible. Silicone moulds are often used in pewter casting. I chose a more sustainable method: a mould made from scrap wood and casting sand. This way, no silicone waste was created, only a small amount of incinerated sand—still waste, but less harmful and in much smaller quantities.
