A memory of my childhood.

I created this sculpture from cast recycled pewter, iron nails, and oak wood, drawing inspiration from a photo of my father and me at a lake. We were throwing stones, and I was fascinated by his ability to make them skip across the water. This image reflects the mutual admiration between parent and child.

Collecting stones, shells, and other objects is an essential part of hiking for me. In this piece, the nails symbolize the act of collecting, which many children do instinctively.
