Inspired by the shape of the Soreq Nuclear Research Centre.
Designed by American architect Philip Johnson (1906–2005), the institute conducts research in physics.
This bracelet combines soft and hard lines, reflecting both the healing and destructive powers of nuclear energy.
The bronze colour appeals to me, and I love the patina that develops with wear. Skin discolouration from bronze jewellery is harmless.
The bracelet was 3D-printed in wax, then cast in bronze using the lost-wax method.
I hand-finish the bracelet.
