Inspired by the works of Josef Hoffmann (15 December 1870 - 7 May 1956)
He was an Austrian architect as well as a designer and co-founder of the Wiener-Werkstätte.
The way Hoffmann used patterns of squares and rectangles in his designs and architecture appeals to me.
The colour of bronze really speaks to me and I love the patina that arises over time as a part of the wear. The discolourations that some people get on their skins by wearing bronze jewellery are harmless. If that is not your cup of tea, this bracelet is not for you, because the dark brown patina makes it impossible to gild it. This model is also available in silver.
This bracelet is 3D printed in wax, after which the wax model was cast in bronze using the classic lost wax method.
The finishing of the bracelet and the patina are done by hand.
