A gift for a daughter-in-law turning 50 and Fabulous

For her husband's fiftieth birthday, I designed a box with espresso spoons, consisting of two compartments, so that each of their sons would later have a tangible memento of their father. This principle also underlies the 50/50 necklace.
The necklace consists of two separate parts that can be worn independently or, with the handmade clasps, joined together to form one long necklace. The beads are handmade from Argentium silver. Each necklace contains twenty-five coloured glass beads; together they refer to fifty years, memories, and moments.
Instead of one large box, two smaller boxes were made. This is how the work will ultimately be divided: as a memento of their mother.
